Welcome to SonicView Interface! This document provides instructions on locating and manually pulling recordings from archived SonicView recordings.
1. Logging into SonicView Application
Launch your SonicView and enter your username and password to open the application.
1.1 SonicView Old Call Search
In the SonicView application, there is a default data management profile is created, which will archive calls older than 180 days to archive location hence you can search calls in SonicView which are the latest 6 months only. If you are looking for old calls, please browse to Manage->Data Management and you will be displayed Scheduled Type->Monthly profile as shown below.
Click Action->Click to edit the record button as shown below.
Under the General Configuration section, please make a note of the Archive Folder Path and this will be the place where calls older than 180 days were archived.
Please use windows search at the top right corner (encircled red below) of the root archive location to search calls in question.
The folder path as shown below will also let us know where the physical recording file is located.
NOTE: Please copy the files from the original location and do not cut or delete the recordings if you do so the original files will be permanently moved out from the archive location, and you cannot retrieve them later. If someone does, then it will result in a loss of data.
