Welcome to SonicView Interface! This document provides instructions on the steps to take when rebooting your SonicView server.
1. Logging into SonicView Application
Launch your SonicView and enter your username and password to open the application.
1.1 SonicView Server Reboot
SonicView server reboot should be a planned activity by your IT infra team. If the server is rebooted automatically during working days OR weekends as a maintenance task would result in breaking the end-to-end functionality of the SonicView application.
If you find your reports automation, export automation, download recordings, and play recordings are not working, then the possible reason could be SonicView server was rebooted when tasks are in progress.
So, it is always recommended to reboot the SonicView server only on Sunday afternoon and it is the only best time to reboot the server, because there are no scheduled tasks are performing during this period.
Please make sure after the SonicView server is rebooted and if you have storage drives that are BitLocker enabled as shown below, then your IT personnel should unlock the drives failing to do will result in no new calls will be shown in the SonicView application.
If you find any feature which was running successfully and suddenly it is not working, then your IT infra who maintains the SonicView server should check was the server rebooted last night or a couple of days ago using the windows event logs. If it confirms that the SonicView server was rebooted, then please reach out Provana Support team to clean up tasks that were in progress and kill the tasks that were HUNG in the server.
